Our company is currently looking to hire an experienced Sandblaster in our Kamloops BC location and we are willing to train the right candidate. This person would be joining an established team, in a position which has the potential for career progression. We offer a comprehensive benefit package.
Progressive Rubber Industries is a leader in the manufacturing of abrasion and corrosion resistant components for the Mining, Aggregate and Power Industries. We have been in business in Kamloops BC, since 1997.
Job Requirements:
•
Ability to comprehend and follow written procedures and drawings.
•
Proficient using hand and power tools.
•
Ability to work safely with chemicals and follow WHMIS guidelines. Wear PPE.
•
Ensure quality standards are maintained and meet production levels.
•
Physically able to lift and handle heavy objects.
•
Forklift experience an asset but will train if required.
•
Must be reliable and able to work shifts and site work.
•
Have a good attitude with enthusiasm to learn.
•
Physically fit to be able to sweep and shovel blasting media for reclaiming, required each shift.

Shifts Available
•
Weekend Shift - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 05:00 - 17:00. Weekend Contract provided with offer letter with more details.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.52-$30.94 per hour
