To be successful as a sales analyst you should be able to compile and analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources, accurately project sales trends, properly categorize and assess sales opportunities, and provide valuable recommendations to optimize sales strategies and increase market share. You are responsible for calculating commissions, facilitating the CRM, preparing the sales budget and examining how cost-to-serve impacts each territory. You will partner with sales leadership to prepare and present weekly/monthly reports.
- Comparing day-to-day, MTD, YTD, LTM sales activity
- Reviewing budget versus actual and year over year and other benchmarks
- Forecasting demand, revenue, and expenses
- Monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, customer, and market trends.
- Presenting weekly/monthly sales reports
Facilitating the tank ROI process; compiling, analyzing, and reporting on tank ROI data
Calculating commissions and answering questions from sales representatives
Providing actionable insights to guide the sale teams.
Contributing to the development of sales plans and objectives.
Reviewing the company’s past and current sales performance
Presenting detailed insights, recommendations, and feedback on company sales
Coordinating with the Sales Manager at all times

To perform this job successfully, you must have strong research and data analysis skills. You should have the ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams and prepare collaborative presentations. You will should be able to discuss and explain numbers with nonfinancial people.
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance; 2-5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience using Microsoft Excel to manage large amounts of data.
