RIS is looking to add a Safety Director to our growing Company! Our Team works with customers to meet expectations and deliver installation services in a safe but timely manner.
Responsibilities:
•Evaluate daily operations and planning procedures to mitigate risks.
•Update current safety documents to reflect changes in Safety Program
•Utilize and implement industry best practices to promote a world-class safety culture.
•Lead and manage safety efforts on large-scale mission by working collaboratively with Project Managers and Safety Coordinators
•Design and Implement safety/training videos for each individual duty on the jobsite.
•Track and trend safety training completions to help proactively manage safety efforts.
•Manage safety material to support project needs.
•Assist with case/injury management.
•Manage and coordinate on-site training, wellness, and safety initiatives.
•Ensuring JSA’s and STAs are filled out correctly.
•Creating new JSA’s and STA’s as new work fronts or tools are added.
•Ensuring meaningful STA Meetings are being done daily.
•Monitoring staff to evaluate if health and safety is not at risk.
•Assessing equipment and machinery to gauge if they are in safe, working order; this will be done by daily Checks.
•Investigating on-site accidents
•Other duties as assigned.
•Travel required – 75% to implement new processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
•5-10 years of safety related experience
•Possess a current Osha 510 Certification as well as First Aid Training
•Strong relationship building, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
•Train the Trainer Certification preferred.
•Spanish and English Bilingual, written and spoken preferred.
