Norfleet is seeking to fill the position of ROW Title Coordinator, whose function shall be based upon the following expectations and job functions:
- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance project execution and efficiency.
- Supervise work of title personnel to ensure they meet the highest professional standards, which shall include setting expectations and providing necessary training to the staff to provide a quality product to our clients.
- Responsible for the overall project success and achievement of meeting milestones for the title phase for assigned projects.
- Oversee & assist all Title Agent project-related needs, to include assigning work and delegating responsibilities to said team.
- Ensuring that an MOC log is managed for each project to determine if a change order may be necessary to address scope changes.
- Assist Title Manager with oversight on the time and expenses of the title teams to properly manage project budgets
- Highly knowledgeable in Surface and Mineral Title requirements, in multiple states, or the ability to seek said knowledge so our product meets/exceeds all standards and expectations.
- Ability to quickly access pertinent information to allow for informed decisions and respond to the challenges of all assigned tasks.
- Strong knowledge in the due diligence with an understanding of mergers and acquisitions.
- Good management skills that allow for identifying skill strengths and weaknesses of direct reports.
- Registered Professional Landman, Certified Professional Landman or Certified Professional Lease and Title Analyst preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and/or equivalent industry related Right of Way/Mineral Title work experience.
- Ten or more (10+) years of experience performing all aspects of land and right of way/mineral title research, or comparable industry related education.- Minimum five (5) years of Right of Way Title supervisory experience, preferred.
- Knowledge in all aspects of ROW, Mineral Title and Due Diligence, and the successor tasks, to include project management, acquisition processes, title, budgeting, cost forecasting, due diligence, and solid understanding of general regulatory, eminent domain, and legal issues.
- Advanced computer skills in various Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with database systems.
