As a

Roofer

CIMS LP

, you will be responsible for roof maintenance including Installing, repairing, and replacing a variety of high-quality roofing systems.

You will report to the Service Manager & Regional Construction Manager and be accountable for:

•

Installing and repairing metal roofs using different tools including both power and handheld.

•

Maintenance of roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts, hot asphalt, gravel.

•

Apply waterproof coating to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground levels.

•

Install roof sheet flashing to protect the edges of roof and walls.

You are the ideal candidate for this role if you:

•

Hold Apprenticeship or Journeyperson certification and are a member (or willing to join) of the respective union, Local 280.

•

Have torch-on experience.

•

Are reliable and responsible with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy.

•

Have the ability to be a self-starter but also collaborate with management, clients, and employees.

•

Have strong Verbal and written communication skills.

•

Hold a Class 5 Driver's License with a clean Driver’s abstract (an asset).

Working conditions

you can expect while performing your role includes:

•

Work that takes place at heights while adhering to safety protocols.

•

Repetitive movement and lifting; frequent standing and walking are required.

•

Work that takes place outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

•

May be required to lift/move loads of up to 50lbs.
