Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various roofing techniques and materials, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of roofs to the highest standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

•

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal.

•

Assess roof conditions and determine necessary repairs or replacements.

•

Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete roofing tasks efficiently.

•

Follow schematics and construction plans to ensure accurate installation.

•

Perform masonry work as needed for roof installations or repairs.

•

Execute caulking tasks to ensure waterproofing of roofs.

•

Engage in frame carpentry and trim carpentry as part of roofing projects.

•

Manage and train a group of skilled laborers to perform roofing installations, roof leak maintenance tickets and other tasks relating to managed roof work.

•

Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on job sites.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.

Requirements

•

Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields is preferred.

•

Familiarity with masonry, tile laying, construction estimating, drywall installation, and building processes is a plus.

•

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.

•

Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints effectively.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

•

Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work at heights safely.

•

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $28.10 - $30.58 per hour
