Job Summary

This position is responsible for setting up robots, first piece inspections, and helping operators achieve production goals.

Medium Work - Exerting Up To 50 Pounds Of Force Occasionally, And/or To 20 Pounds Of Force Frequently, And/or Up To 10 Pounds Of Force Constantly To Move Objects. Job Function

- Ensure all operators are running parts in accordance with department procedures at all times.

- Proactively advise operators about specific problems or potential problems with parts.

- Inspect parts to ensure they meet all requirements specified by prints, dimensions and work instructions.

- Assist operators with problems and actively work to reach resolutions.

- Assist with set-ups, ensures jigs are secured to the table.

- Remain attentive to operator whereabouts.

- Note program issues and bring to the attention of applicable personnel. (Programmer, Engineering, etc.)

- Ensure department compliance to 6S standards.

- Ensure all operators are adhering to safety procedures/regulations/and the use of protective equipment.

- Ensure new hires receive complete, thorough training.

- Monitor new hire progression.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

- A basic ability to read blueprints and use various measuring instruments.

- Certification for these skills provided through in-house training.

- Must be able to work from written or verbal instructions

- One-year experience with robotic welding is preferred.

- Experience with MIETRAK a plus

- Must be team-oriented

- Able to use all related hardware and software.

- Must have average knowledge and capability in the use of Windows operating systems.
