Rigger - Equipment Rigger / Operator Manufacturing and Industrial

Pro Fab is an established Austin area Rigging & Fabrication Company committed to offering quality and outstanding customer service. We are currently seeking dependable candidates that will uphold these values with the desire to produce quality work and exceed expectations. The right candidate is a team player who works well independently and with others. Ideally, we want critical thinkers with excellent mechanical and technical skills. We currently have openings for experienced Riggers and Millwrights as well as apprentices for both positions. We will train the right candidate with an opportunity to grow in responsibility and leadership.

Position Overview:

* Rigging

* Use of air pallets, skates, and dollies

* Setting, leveling, aligning machinery and equipment

* Moving manufacturing equipment

* Equipment Operation

Job Requirements:

* Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs, climb a ladder, use a man-lift, crawl, kneel & climb stairs

* Minimum 1 year rigging and/or millwright

* Must have flexible availability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends

* Valid Driver License (CDL desired)

* Local to the Austin area - will not relocate

* Must be able to pass a drug test

* Acceptable background check

Preferred

* Forklift experience, certified preferred

* A candidate who is looking to be trained with an increase in responsibility

* Project and time management skills

* Good Communication skills

* Critical Thinker

* Dependable with a good work ethic

For Apprentice Position:

* 1 year + mechanical, skilled trade experience or rigging preferred
