Location * U.S.-based with occasional travel to Mexico
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Reservoir Engineer who is fluent in Spanish and English to support our international operations, with a focus on Mexico. This role involves evaluating reservoir performance, optimizing development strategies, and supporting cross-border collaboration with operational teams, partners, and regulatory agencies in Spanish-speaking regions.
•Analyze reservoir data and performance to generate forecasts and development recommendations.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geoscience, drilling, and production to create optimized development plans.
•Conduct field reviews, reserve audits, and run economic evaluations in support of investment decisions.
•Acquire pertinent price forecasts, capital investments, and operation costs from respective groups
•Provide production forecasts for business planning purposes; run economic look-backs on previous projects.
•Serve as a technical liaison with partners, regulatory bodies, and contractors in Mexico.
•Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and recommendations in both English and Spanish in front of large groups.
•Travel regularly to offices in Mexico.

•Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
•3+ years of reservoir engineering experience, ideally with unconventional exposure.
•Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Experience with reservoir software tools and analysis software (e.g. ARIES, IHS Harmony, Whitson)
•Experienced in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Excel, Power Point, Access, etc)
•Strong understanding of decline curve analysis, material balance, and reserves estimation.
•Ability to work independently in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment.
•Must hold a valid passport and be willing/able to travel to offices in Mexico.
