Annual Pay Range $69,170 - $103,785

QUALIFICATIONS:

We’re looking for a motivated, self-starting individual with a strong safety mindset and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will either possess or be willing to develop skills in high-angle rescue, hazard identification and risk mitigation, heavy equipment operation and maintenance, and safe driving in all weather conditions. Familiarity with hand tools, renewable energy component maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and diagram reading is highly valued. Candidates should also be able to obtain a DOT medical card and become proficient in lockout/tagout procedures for various voltage levels. Comfort with Microsoft Office products is expected.

SUMMARY ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Otter Tail Power Company is seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Renewable Energy Specialist (RES) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of our renewable energy assets, ensuring all activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company values and policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment while supporting the reliable performance of our renewable energy systems.
