In this job, you'll be part of the Remediation Management team within Transmission & Distribution and will be supporting compliance notification progression throughout the IPSEC workflow from initiation through close-out. This position will be highly visible and integral in the successful completion of our overall compliance remediation strategy.

- Support the execution target by ensuring Compliance Notification work moves through the IPSEC workflow by the compliance due date contributing to public safety, mitigating risk for the public and the company.

- Utilize and analyze output from dashboards, trackers, and systems of record to monitor, track, and report on progression of work.

- Collaborate in the development of processes and procedures supporting the workflow.

- Collaborates with business stakeholders to define data requirements and translates business questions into analytical queries

- Develops new processes with the goals of increasing productivity, reducing risk of system failure, promoting efficiency in workflow, and meeting or exceeding key operational performance targets

- Updates and revises technical manuals based on policies and procedures, manufacturer information, industry standards and best practices

- Provides input into the definition and documentation of the technical delivery policy, process, standards and documentation templates, collaborating with the product development team on product design and upgrades

- Supports substation in creating goals for bill of material processing, setting monthly targets with support from transmission and distribution

- Delivers independent execution of established and emerging work processes and systems

- Communicates status of projects and studies, assists with planning and scheduling, and ensures alignment of communications initiatives to meet business unit goals and overall strategy, including consistency in tone, message, and approach

- Conducts data analysis to develop insights and identify trends from large datasets regarding substation package intake and processing

- Lead major projects that have major financial or operational impact to the operating unit and/or company

- Performs in-depth analysis, develops recommendations, and provides consulting to address customer and/or Company problems/issues which cross organizational boundaries and require thorough technical knowledge to resolve

- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

- Seven or more years of experience providing technical support.

- Experience defining data requirements and building analytical queries.

- Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

- Seven or more years of experience in Utility Industry, in the areas of Transmission and Distribution Operations or Program Management.

- Five or more years of years of experience in Data Analytics, with a strong background in managing, validating large or complex datasets, and working with various reporting platforms.

- Experience with DM, DCPT, DCRT, ClickSchedule, WorkIt, and/or FMP360.

- Two or more years of experience with PowerBI, PowerQuery, and/or other analytical tools such as: SAS or SAS Visual Analytics (VA).

- Three or more years of experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (SAP, Oracle, etc.),

- Experience preparing weekly and monthly status reports to monitor compliance performance.

- Experience with District and/or Regional scheduling processes and notification dispositioning in alignment with E1 policy and GO95 requirements.

- Experience and knowledge of fundamental lifecycle (IPSEC) in all compliance notifications, including but not limited to: Understanding the differences between P1/P2/P3 and required end dates for each (e.g., HFEX, HFIA, non-HFRA)

Additional Information

- This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

- Position will require up to 10% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.

- This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
