Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Salesperson to find and develop new business opportunities in Ammonia, Hydrogen, and Methanol Plants across the USA and Canada. This role requires a strong technical understanding combined with exceptional sales acumen to drive growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
•Driving Sales within the Ammonia, Hydrogen, and Methanol Industries across the USA and Canada, identifying key growth opportunities and new clients.
•Building and maintaining strong relationships with technical, commercial, and production teams at client sites to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
•Collaborating closely with the Regional Sales Director and cross-functional teams to develop strategic sales plans aligned with corporate goals.
•Delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations to prospective and existing customers to promote Magma and UNICAT product lines.
•Maximizing new business opportunities by identifying client needs, offering innovative solutions, and negotiating contracts effectively.
•Providing technical support and expertise to customers throughout the sales cycle, including pre-sales consultation and post-sales follow-up.
•Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions to proactively address customer needs.
•Ensuring all sales activities are conducted with honesty, integrity, and adherence to all legal and ethical standards of the company.
•Preparing detailed sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to inform management decisions.
•Working remotely with a flexible schedule, dedicating approximately 40% of time to travel for client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
•Participating in trade shows, seminars, and workshops to expand professional network and increase product visibility.
•Continuously updating technical knowledge and sales skills through training programs and industry research.
•Any additional duties as assigned by your supervisor or upper management to support business objectives.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
•Proven technical background and sales experience within the Syngas industry or related chemical sectors.
•Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a technically complex market.
•Located within close proximity to a major airport in the US for ease of travel and client engagement.
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
•In-depth knowledge of syngas catalysts, purification products, and associated plant operations.
•Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline is highly desirable.
•Self-motivated, results-oriented individual capable of working independently and as part of a team.
•Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools to track and optimize sales activities.
•Willingness to travel extensively across North America, sometimes on short notice.
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer requirements.
