Take the lead in shaping the future of land development as the Regional Leader, Land Development for a dynamic, growing engineering firm in Chattanooga! This is your chance to spearhead a successful team, managing a diverse range of high-impact public and private sector projects. Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):

•

Directing all aspects of land development projects from concept through completion, including technical oversight, staffing, budgeting, and scheduling.

•

Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of engineers and support staff across multiple concurrent projects.

•

Serving as a technical authority on site development, grading, stormwater management, utilities, permitting, and compliance.

•

Engaging in client-facing activities, including presenting at public meetings, managing stakeholder communications, and serving as a trusted advisor.

•

Developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing project financials.

•

Driving strategic growth of the land development practice by nurturing client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities.

•

Collaborating with other practice leaders and internal disciplines to ensure coordinated project delivery.

Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:

•

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s a plus)

•

Active PE license

•

10+ years of civil/site development experience with leadership roles

•

Knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting

•

Experience leading teams and mentoring junior staff

•

Comfortable presenting publicly and working with regulators

•

Skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D and similar design tools

•

Strong client and business development experience

•

Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and PowerPoint for reporting/presentations via Teams or in person.
