The Receiving & Inventory Lead is responsible for overseeing the receiving, tracking, and distribution of materials and equipment for projects and operations. This role ensures materials are accurately received, documented, and organized within the warehouse and yard while maintaining inventory integrity and supporting field operations.
- Lead the daily operations of the receiving and inventory team
- Verify incoming deliveries, inspect materials, and ensure proper documentation
- Maintain inventory control through tracking systems, cycle counts, and audits
- Organize warehouse layout and ensure safe storage and staging of materials
- Coordinate delivery of materials and equipment to job sites
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Maintain clear records of receipts, transfers, and equipment returns
- Train and guide receiving and inventory support personnel
- Communicate with procurement and project teams regarding material status
- Strong knowledge of receiving procedures, inventory tracking, and warehouse safety
- Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents,
- Familiar with shop and Isometric drawings
- Proficiency with Excel and inventory management systems
- Skilled in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail
- High school diploma or GED required
- 24 years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience required
- 1+ year of experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred- Forklift certification required
- Must pass background check and drug screening

- Work Environment: Work performed in field environments including construction sites, powerline projects, and industrial facilities. Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, extreme temperatures, noise, dust, and hazardous work areas.
- Physical Activity: Requires ability to walk, stand, climb, and perform inspections for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, FR clothing, fall protection, etc.)
- Work Schedule: Fulltime; may require overtime, shift work, weekends, and emergency callouts
- Travel: May require travel to various job sites
