Position Summary

The Driller will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a track mounted drill with compressor and preparing areas for shots. In this position, the Driller will perform maintenance on drill and compressor, trouble shoot electrical and hydraulic issues and assist in loading and stemming of blast patterns. While working as a team, a preferred applicant will also perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as well as participate in safety inspections and the plant safety program.

Requirements* Must be safety conscious, dependable, and motivated

Education & Experience* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* Proficient in all aspects of drilling

WORKING CONDITIONS

Larger equipment is typically air conditioned. There will be times when outside assignments may require periods of work in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry and dusty. Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 85 dbs.
