Field Drilling Operator

Water Well Drilling Company located in Southern Utah seeks motivated and professional Driller's Helper. Full time position. We drill water wells for residential, municipal, environmental monitoring. We train but the applicant must have excellent communication skills, reliable transportation, clean driving record, be able to stand for 8 plus hours per day and lift 50 pounds repeatedly. Typical work day is to load trucks, drive to site, perform drilling activities, return to home base. Typical tasks will be to assist with operation of drilling rig, and support equipment. Assist on the drilling floor - normal drilling procedures. Mix mud for pit. Keep equipment and location and equipment clean and orderly. Perform assigned equipment maintenance.

Summary

As a Field Drilling Assistant, you will support drilling operations by utilizing your mechanical knowledge and expertise in horizontal drilling. Reporting to the Drilling Supervisor, your role is vital in ensuring efficient and safe drilling processes. You will operate heavy equipment, including excavators and forklifts, while adhering to OSHA regulations on construction sites. Your strong communication skills will facilitate teamwork and collaboration in the oil and gas sector. By leveraging your skills in pipeline operations and commercial driving, you will contribute to the successful execution of drilling projects.
