Quality Technician - CNC Machining

BACKGROUND

Prosper-Tech is a family owned (~25 people) CNC machining service provider for the medical device, aerospace, and defense industries. We are looking to add to our operations team to keep up with strong customer demand in 2025.

JOB TYPE & BENEFITS

PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 3 years+ of precision measuring experience (job-shop environment preferred)

· Must be able to read machining blueprints including GD&T and know how to measure a feature off a print

· Blueprint reading – Must be able to identify physical features from print, associated tolerances, and determine which quality tools to use to measure for the accuracy needed

· GD&T – Must understand GD&T principles and how to apply to parts inspection.

· Ability to follow instructions on how to operate CMM using existing programs.

· Ability to use the following – Micrometers, calipers, gage pins, gage blocks, dial indicators, surface plate, optical comparator, etc

· High proficiency of technical communication via email, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office tools

· Ability to work within AS9100 requirements and through a digital ERP system.

· Willingness to flow to finishing work as needed (part debur, part washing, final inspection, packaging)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
