Quality Manager CNC Machine Shop

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and control processes within our CNC machine shop. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and other relevant quality systems. This role involves leading quality audits, managing quality inspection procedures, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to uphold the highest standards of manufacturing excellence. The Quality Manager will play a critical role in maintaining product integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational efficiency through effective project management and analysis skills.

Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001 and other industry standards.

- Lead internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

- Oversee quality control and inspection processes for all CNC machined products to ensure adherence to specifications and customer expectations.

- Manage non-conformance issues by conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to establish quality assurance protocols that enhance product reliability and process efficiency.

- Conduct risk assessments and analysis to identify potential areas for process improvements or compliance gaps.

- Facilitate training programs on quality systems, standards, and best practices for staff members.

- Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audit findings, and improvement initiatives for management review.

- Drive continuous improvement projects utilizing project management methodologies to optimize manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a Quality Management role within a CNC machine shop or manufacturing environment. Minimum of 2-3 years experience.

- Strong knowledge in Swiss machined parts and automotive precision parts.

- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards related to manufacturing processes.

- Demonstrated expertise in conducting quality audits and inspections with a focus on QA/QC procedures.

- Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001 and related regulatory frameworks.

- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and implement effective corrective actions.

- Strong project management skills to lead cross-functional improvement initiatives.

- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with effective communication skills for training and reporting purposes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
