Quality Intern

Assist Quality Dept with completion of identified projects.

Assist with problem solving activities via data collection, process monitoring, product review, etc.

CAD work (SPID Project)

Using SQCPack / Minitab to run assigned capability analysis, then work with QE or PE to filter and identify areas of concern.

Process reviews associated with identified concerns to aid in determining root causes.

Job Responsibilities:

· Develop / Update Defect Guides for Inspection

· Revise SPID (Sample Location Drawings), as many of current are incorrect, and we need to reformat to move into new SFS System. (work with lab to ensure compliance)

· Run SQC Capability Analysis Reports for selected products (Airbus, Swagelok, Boeing Defense, etc.) to align with requirements, as well as stat analysis for problem solving. (work with QE for priority and potential problem solving, such as die design)

Education:

Year in school required: Junior

Goals of the Internship

Develop standardized reporting templates for identified shapes to allow for quick analysis to monitor ongoing process / product performance.
