Regal Rexnord Aerospace supplies high performance spherical and cylindrical bearings, mechanical seals, gears and electrical components to commercial air transport markets. Our products are engineered to meet stringent requirements and are specified in engine systems, flight control systems, landing gear systems and airframe structures. Our global customer base includes major engine and airframe OEMs, tier suppliers and aircraft operators.

Brief Description

We are looking for someone who can use standard measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height stands, dial indicators, comparators, and vision systems to verify products and improve problem-solving and implementation of improvements. This individual will help drive improvements and increase our overall Quality position with our customers.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Minimum of 5 years of Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment demonstrating increasing accountability.

- Working knowledge of aviation industry compliance standards preferred, including ISO9001 and AS9100 standard.

- Experience with gage calibration and verification activities.

- Experienced in reading part blueprints and application of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

- Effective communication skills.

- Basic math aptitude.

- Experience with Microsoft Office 2000 or greater.

Physical Requirements

- Moderate physical demand required to insert tooling, set up work centers, inspect workpieces and make machine adjustments, which is equivalent to continuously lifting or moving light weight material. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for an entire shift.
