Summary

The Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in upholding RHK's integrity by ensuring that our products meet the highest standards. With a keen eye for detail, they will work closely with multiple stakeholders to conduct thorough inspections and tests on materials, parts, and finished products.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

•

Perform dimensional inspections on incoming and in-process parts from machining, welding, heat treating, and other suppliers to confirm conformance to engineering drawings and RHK documentation requirements.

•

Work closely with the QHSE Manager to develop and execute quality control procedures and processes.

•

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures, identifying areas for enhancement and recommending appropriate solutions.

•

Ensure the timely flow of all quality control checks and corrections.

•

Report inspection findings in computerized systems used to monitor inspection activities, non-conformances and failures and other QMS activities

•

Collaborate with production teams to address any quality-related issues and provide recommendations for improvement.

•

Participate in the investigation and analysis of customer complaints or concerns, identifying root causes and collaborate with operations to determine corrective and preventive actions.

•

Complete customer documentation packages in accordance with company procedures and customer specifications for each order

•

Maintain accurate documentation and records of inspection results, ensuring traceability and adherence to quality standards.

•

Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Production, Purchasing and Service departments to meet internal and external customer needs

•

Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to quality control and assurance.

•

Additional duties assigned as required

Qualifications & Experience

•

3+ years working in QA or QC role within a manufacturing environment

•

High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail

•

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

•

Strong problem-identification and problem-resolution skills

•

Highly motivated, self-directed, capable multi-tasker, flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines

•

Advanced knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings and specifications in support of quality requirements.

•

Advanced knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and scales.

•

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
