ASAP Quality Engineer

Job Description:

The Quality Engineer shall be responsible for product and system nonconformances, root cause and corrective action, PDCA, quality metrics, key performance indicators (KPI's), internal audit program, corrective action requests, and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Preferred experience is a minimum of 3 years in aerospace quality.

Knowledge of AS9100 and related standards

Problem solving skills: Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action methods.

Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data driven decisions.

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related technical field

LANGUAGE SKILLS

English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, quality document, customer documents and drawings, and internal procedures. Ability to write routine documents and correspondence.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL

Ability to observe details in order to accomplish tasks thoroughly and accurately.

Can log on to a computer system, navigate in windows, perform simple tasks within applications and enter information into a database/software program.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must be able to pass respirator training and requirements.
