Quality Control Technician Location: Union, MO Shift: Monday–Friday; 2nd shift 4 pm–2 am or 8 pm-6 am Reports to: Quality Control Supervisor

Position Overview:
As a Quality Control Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our materials and finished aluminum profiles meet both customer specifications and our exacting company standards. You’ll work closely with production teams before, during, and after extrusion to catch deviations early and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain and update detailed inspection and test reports
- Perform quality inspections at all stages: raw material, in‐process, and final product
- Analyze inspection data; flag and document any deviations from standards
- Identify opportunities for process improvements; help implement new QC methods
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns promptly and clearly
- Own customer quality issues from detection through resolution
- Apply 360° thinking—anticipate cross‐departmental impacts of quality decisions
- Remain agile in managing priorities, strategic goals, and day‐to‐day tasks
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other test equipment
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and SharePoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to follow detailed instructions
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to cover shift changes as needed
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or extrusion environment a plus
- Two-week day-shift training (6 am–4 pm) to learn our processes and equipment
- Permanent placement on your shift after training
- Flexibility is a must—shifts may adjust to cover team needs in our growing department
