Quality Control-LEAD-1st Shift

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing. ISO9000 or automotive Quality Management System (QMS), statistical process control, and blueprint reading knowledge a preferred. Coordinate Measuring Machine experience preferred. Supervisory experience favored. Must have good communication skills.

Description of Duties:

-Provides leadership and on the job training for department

-Oversees all gauge R&R studies, enters data into Minitab for analysis

-Develops quality work instructions with QA manager.

-Schedules all Quality personnel.

-Participates in problem solving activities.

-Working with other management for ongoing compliance to QMS.

-Works closely with the Quality Manager to resolve quality issues, develop measuring systems, and develop training initiatives.

- Has the authority to stop production from running should he/she feels there is bad product being produced.

- Follow all safety policies and lock-out tagout procedures

- Participates in the daily stand up meetings.

- Performs and/or schedules inspections for PPAP and annual if required.

- Conducts layered process audits

- Assists with inspection help as needed

-Other duties as assigned.

Full-Time, 1st Shift, Mon-Fri: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Benefits after 60 day waiting period.
