Quality Control - 1st Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities includes the following:

1. Verifies that parts are being manufactured in accordance with AIM’s ISO & quality standards.

2. Audits that employees are accurately filling out inspection reports and tags.

3. Communicates any issues with quality or accuracy to the quality engineer and plant manager.

4. Conduct visual inspections of parts for defect and conformity.

5. Assist with quality sorting and inspections as needed.

6. Document deviations or process changes as appropriate.

7. Recommend appropriate changes to processes, procedures and documents.

8. Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas daily.

9. Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.

10. All other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

Attention to detail.

Proficient blue print reading and interpretation skills.

Ability to use measurement tools and gauges.

Strong understanding of dimensions and tolerances.

Good technical communication.

Strong computer skills.

Ability to read, understand and follow safety procedures.

Required to stand for long periods of time.

Required to walk frequently.

May frequently involve some repetitive motions.

Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

May also engage in frequent and repetitive bending, lifting, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers

3 - 5 years experience with quality in a production environment.

Technical background, training or education in quality a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
