Job Description
The Quality Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the company's operations, products, and services comply with customer and applicable quality standards, with a strong focus on API Q1 and ISO 9001 requirements. This role supports continuous improvement across the organization by conducting audits, maintaining QMS documentation, coordinating corrective actions, and ensuring operational alignment with industry regulations and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
Including, but not limited to:
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with the latest editions of ISO 9001, API Specification Q1 in the USA.
- Ensure Quality Compliance in accordance with internal Procedures, in compliance with the latest editions of ISO 9001, API Specification Q1.
- Verification/Auditing of Operational Tasks in accordance with implemented Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Form part of the Audit Team for the auditing of Site-Specific IMS elements not covered by Head Office (Elements include: Asset Management & Preventive Maintenance, Risk Assessment & Contingency Planning, Warehouse, Identification & Traceability, Customer Property Control, Welding Shop Control, Paint Workshop Control, Assembly Workshop Control, Inspection & Testing of Final Product, Validation of SRP, Calibration Status, Control of Non-Conforming Product, Availability of Resources).
- Evaluation and Re-evaluation of Critical Suppliers used by the International Facility.
- Assist the Company to gain or maintain Quality Management System Accreditations in the USA as nominated by management.
- Maintain relevant Integrated Management System logs and documentation.
- Prepare applicable Quality reports as required.
- Assist QHSE Manager with compiling of facility-specific data for Management System Review.
- Survey production areas on a regular basis to establish compliance to IMS requirements.
- Conduct Final Inspection of manufactured product, prior to release.
- Compile monthly Quality Reports according to company standards and requirements.
- Perform other work-related tasks as required and assigned, and
- Undergo training when required.
- High school certificate.
- NDE Qualifications (MT, PT) or Welding Inspector (Level 2) would be advantageous.
- Fundamentals of API Specification Q1 and/or Q2 would be advantageous.
- Internal Auditing of Quality Management Systems.
- Experience working under API Q1 and/or API Q2 quality management systems requirements, with a strong understanding of QMS Principles, auditing techniques, and industry best practices.
- 3-5 Years' experience in quality compliance, quality assurance, or quality management within the Oil & Gas industry.
