Overview: We are a fast-paced, high-performance precision machine and fabrication shop located in Orlando, FL, specializing in building complex mechanical components for the entertainment industry. Our work includes ride vehicle components and mechanical systems for major theme park clients and ride integrators including Disney, Universal Studios, Falcons Creative Group, Sansei Technologies, Oceaneering, Vekoma and other world-class attraction developers.
Our work also includes various Oil & Gas components and Aerospace components. Position Summary: We are currently hiring experienced Quality Control Inspectors to support our growing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision mechanical inspection within a machine shop or fabrication environment and will be responsible for ensuring products meet tight dimensional and visual quality standards required for theme park and entertainment applications.
- Ability to communicate professionally and appropriately in a team environment and the willingness to assist others as well as to be able to ask for help when needed in efforts to make all departments successful in their goals
- Knowledge of QC Tools and ability to effectively use them in order to appropriately measure parts in line with the drawing
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of machined and fabricated components • Use a variety of standard precision inspection tools, including: • Tape measures, calipers, micrometers, height gauges • Pin gauges, thread plug and ring gauges • Bore micrometers, surface profilometers • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications
- Verify dimensional accuracy and weld quality for fabricated parts • Inspect weld joint prep, fit-up, and final welds for conformance to standards • Record inspection results and create nonconformance reports as needed • Collaborate closely with machinists, fabricators, welders, and project engineers Preferred Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years experience in a QC inspection role in a precision machine or fabrication shop (5+ years strongly preferred) • Experience using portable CMM inspection systems, preferably: • FARO Quantum S Arm Portable CMM • Keyence WM-6025 Model Portable CMM • Solid understanding of GD&T and fabrication tolerancing • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills • Familiarity with ASME Y14.5, AWS D1.1/D1.2 standards a plus • Comfortable standing, moving, and lifting inspection equipment throughout the day
- General knowledge of coatings quality requirements and process requirements for the following applications: Macropoxy, zinc plating, electroless nickel plating, black oxide, powdercoating, chem film, anodizing, etc.

- Must be able to work onsite at our Orlando, FL facility — remote work is not available
