Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a QA/QC/Safety Engineer opportunity in Jonesborough, TN.

Job Description:

•

May inspect material and equipment for compliance to purchase order specification and applicable quality requirements

•

Responsible for receiving specific and detailed work instructions as to required tasks, and follows established written procedures and techniques to accomplish work activities

•

Knowledge is obtained on a continuing developmental level

•

May perform surveillance and inspections in accordance to the applicable site or department procedure. Provide the results of these assessments to line management or lead assessor.

•

Assists in the maintenance of project QA records for all phases of the project

•

Provides assigned administrative or functional support to the management team

•

Performs duties of general/routine complexity in nature

•

Maintains knowledge of and demonstrates ability to perform work safely in accordance with all approved safety policies, procedures and applicable regulations and performs assigned duties in a safe manner

•

Actively participates in Safety Work Groups

•

Other job related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

•

15 years' QA/QC experience on commercial nuclear and industrial projects

•

5+ years’ QC management/oversight experience

•

OSHA 10

•

OSHA 30

•

NDT training

•

CWI
