Job Responsibilities:

Machine Setup & Operation:

- Set up, calibrate, and operate punch presses based on work orders and blueprints.

- Monitor the machine during operation to ensure efficient and safe performance.

Material Handling:

- Load raw materials into the punch press and remove finished components.

- May involve use of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).

Quality Control:

- Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet required specifications.

- Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain product quality.

Documentation & Communication:

- Record production data and quality issues as needed.

- Collaborate with supervisors, fellow operators, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year of experience operating punch press machinery.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.

- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.

- Strong attention to detail and quality.

- Physically able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

- Team-oriented with good communication skills.

- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week
