Job Summary

The Process Engineering Supervisor is the technical contact for all matters related to the process technology employed in the facility. Key responsibilities include plant performance monitoring and troubleshooting, process studies and modeling support for plant optimization, process safety and regulatory compliance support, and Communities of Practice and Lessons Learned ownership. This position drives technical consistency and assurance across operating sites through regular operating site presence, interaction, and application of internal and external technical standards. Will oversee and supervise team of Engineers. The Process Engineering Supervisor is the primary technical contact for all matters related to the process technology in the assigned operating facility.

Duties/Responsibilities

Essential Functions

Minimum Qualification/Work Experience

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Minimum Experience: 10+ years’ of Process Engineering experience in a LNG Export/Import or Petrochemical Manufacturing Facility

Preferred Education: Master’s Degree in Engineering

Professional Engineer’s (PE) License

Preferred Experience: 15+ years’ of Process Engineering experience in a Gas Processing, LNG Export/Import or Petrochemical Manufacturing Facility

Supervisory experience

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

HSE Roles and Responsibilities

Support the policies, efforts, and programs of Freeport LNG Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System. Actively participate in the HSE Management System Policies. Ensure that HSE concerns are given priority in all activities completed within their area of responsibility. Implement routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
