This position will take care of the properties, varying in location, keeping them in a clean, safe, and good working condition.
- Fixing property plumbing (faucets, toilets and drains)
- Installing new toilets, sinks, tubs & surrounds, dishwashers, disposals, etc.
- Replacing electric switches, outlets or adding new outlets, lights, fans etc.
- Vinyl, Tile or carpet repairing & installing
- Repairing or installing roofing: flat roof, rubber roof, shingle
- Any additional items as assigned by manager
This position will mainly be interacting with the Senior Property Manager, Property Manager and the tenants/customers they are helping.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving history
- Tools of your own to be used on jobs
- Personal cell phone with ability to text and e-mail
- Must be self-motivated, trustworthy and have good work ethic to be successful working with little supervision
- Must have strong communicating skills, detailed oriented, ability to follow instructions, ability to work well with others and also alone
- Must be available for rotating on call
- Prior experience as an apartment maintenance is strongly preferred
- Any Building and Grounds Certificates are preferred
This position will use a ladder, augers, power hand tools, cell phone in addition to all kinds of various tools and/or machinery depending on the project or work order.
This position will be working indoors and outdoors, lifting, sitting, climbing, walking and traveling between properties.
