Propane Delivery Driver CDL (Local)

We are looking for a responsible Propane Delivery Driver to deliver propane promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Deliver Propane to different addresses and through different routes

- Follow routes and time schedule

- Complete logs and reports

- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

- Obtain Railroad Commission (RRC) certification for Bobtail Driver

- All industry standard trainings and those required by federal and state-any needed training manuals and documents are provided

Skills

- Proven working experience as a Driver

- Valid CDL

- Customer service oriented

- Proficient in reading and writing

- Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Good driving record with no traffic violations

- Able to pass a drug and/or alcohol screen

Working Conditions

The job requires some evening and weekend work, working outdoors during inclement weather, and working with hazardous materials.

Physical Requirements

Employee may be required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, and do repetitive tasks with few breaks. Some 24/7 response is required on rare occasions when customer emergency calls come in.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
