The Project Superintendent will be responsible for field management of construction and maintenance projects across multiple accounts. This includes planning, directing associates, managing activities and subcontractors of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Overseas and assists with various activities in the finance, accounting, and operations groups
In the field on projects, supervise subcontractors and field associates to meet schedule and budget requirements. Interface with Project Managers and Clients to ensure successful completion of the project. Perform short term planning to ensure timely completion.
Document daily occurrences using a Daily Report and submit to the Project Manager at least weekly. Complete timesheets, P-card logs, and expense reports weekly.
Inspect all work daily for quality and compliance with contract documents. Document field changes on a daily basis.
Request, submit and track Purchase Orders and Invoices related to contractors and the customer where applicable
Communicate and follow up with contractors, internal service providers, and Facility
Managers in regard to proposals, quotes, project status and billing
Manage all aspects of financial data related to projects
Communicate and follow up with contractors, internal service providers, and Facility Managers in regard to proposals, quotes, project status and billing
Provide client with backup detail for Project Close Outs, Audits, researching utility increase at specific client locations
Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations.
Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specification.
