We are seeking a Project Manager-Procurement and Planner. You will manage customer accounts of OEM Components of 1,000-1,500 individual SKU's to ensure all orders are met and control inventory and purchasing for the account.
- Handle existing customer accounts
- Track and update inventory
- Order parts as needed for customer's requirements
- Handle communication with overseas vendors
- Resolve customer inquiries
- Keep customers aware of the latest developments
- Manage new projects from order placement to delivery
- Communicate with multiple departments on a daily basis
- Coordinate shipments from vendors to customer
- Analyze and determine purchasing needs based on orders and inventory levels- 3+ years of previous experience in procurement with a background in manufacturing or distribution/inventory
- Experience dealing with overseas vendors is preferred
- Knowledge of OEM Components and blueprints is preferred
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Moderate MS Word and Outlook
- Use of ERP software a must
- Ability to build rapport with clients
