In this team, you would support our goal of aggressively growing our renewable asset production and our goal of achieving Real Zero. In this position, you will work closely with late-stage developers and multiple functional SMEs across the NextEra Energy Resources organization to manage the coordination of the approval journey for each investment, along with the scheduling of the required executive vettings for the utility-scale renewable projects seeking executive approval for continued development and construction. You will be working with NEER Development leadership to ensure key stakeholders in the organization have adequate visibility to the approvals forecast to properly plan for the successful execution of approval requests.

Additionally, you will also maintain updated documentation that supports dashboards used by the entire NEER Development organization and you will also have the opportunity to participate in creating new or improving upon existing processes and business practices to support the organization as it continues its rapid growth. Excellent time-management skills, an ability to manage and coordinate between competing priorities, ability to plan ahead and anticipate “road blocks,” ability to succeed in an environment susceptible to rapid change, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.

The ideal candidate also needs to demonstrate the ability to plan and mitigate for potential challenges or scheduling constraints, a focus on both process discipline and continuous improvement, and the ability to build positive and productive relationships across different groups that contribute to the success of the process. Employees in this role assist in the development and execution of plans for new and enhanced generation projects. This job coordinates allocation of resources, schedules, and technical adequacy, ensuring the project or transaction is completed in the most cost effective and competitive manner. This position participates in all aspects of the business deal and ensures the project is completed on time and within budgetary constraints.
