Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of insurance operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing strategic guidance to enhance the company's insurance processes.

Duties

•

Develop and implement insurance strategies to mitigate risks and optimize coverage

•

Manage insurance claims and ensure timely processing

•

Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, and other stakeholders to negotiate insurance terms

•

Utilize IT tools such as TFS, SharePoint, Jira, and SQL for data analysis and reporting

•

Implement IT governance practices to safeguard sensitive insurance data

•

Lead projects using Agile methodologies and project management principles

•

Oversee the implementation of new insurance policies and procedures

Experience

•

Proven experience in insurance management with a strong understanding of insurance principles

•

Familiarity with IT tools such as TFS, SharePoint, Jira, and SQL for data analysis

•

Knowledge of IT governance practices to ensure data security and compliance

•

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

•

Experience with Agile methodologies and project management principles

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $52.05 - $54.08 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
