This position will provide day-to-day support of the Information Technology (IT) Project Management Office (PMO), play a lead role in company-wide transformation efforts, and report to the Director, IT PMO. As a Project Manager for IT, you will work with IT and business unit teams to establish and be jointly accountable for delivering project objectives and timelines. This includes managing IT projects involving complex business processes, taking these projects from idea to full implementation, and tracking and reporting on progress to various audiences.
- Project Manage critical cross-functional IT Projects and ensure that projects meet users’ business needs and expectations of quality.
- Develop, manage, and deliver multiple IT projects from beginning to end, including project scope, timeline, capacity planning, resource allocation, and project execution.
- Provide project management and direction to ensure the project team has a clear understanding of timelines, risks, escalation path and roles/responsibilities they will undertake within the project team.
- Collaborate with Director, IT PMO, and business leadership teams in strategic planning and decision-making.
- Track the execution of various IT projects across BUs measuring the attainment of goals, and adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- Demonstrate good communication skills while preparing and disseminating project reports and general organization updates.
- Manage pipeline progress, knows the pipeline, and identifies potential roadblocks.
- Brings awareness of issues that can impact project completion timeline, scope, or cost.
- Know the organization well and is proactive in finding individuals that can assist in eliminating roadblocks.
- Work to attain the business unit domain expertise required to collaborate across the multifunctional project team.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with project teams and business partners.
- Ability to create documentation such as, but not limited to: SOPs, How-To’s, and Process Training, etc.

Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Project Management, Engineering, or related field. A minimum of 2 years of relevant work in IT, engineering, and / or project management is required. Candidates should have practical experience in the basics of project management: estimation, project planning, resource planning, issue management, risk management, change management, communication planning.
- Project Management proficiency: Knowledge in all phases of project management. Must be able to effectively employ contemporary project management tools.
- Documentation: General skills in creating comprehensive process documents (AS-IS, TO-BE), business cases and business requirements documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and instructional materials (How To's).
- Computer skills: Ability to use Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, and Project. Ability to use specialized scheduling applications like Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and MS Power BI. Understanding of CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), Windchill, SharePoint SPO, and SAP is desirable.
