Project Manager/Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Project Manager/Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for identifying profitable work opportunities, managing client relationships, and overseeing fabrication and installation projects from pre-bid through final payment.

Responsibilities

- Identify and pursue profitable fabrication and installation projects

- Meet with existing and prospective customers to understand needs

- Develop solutions or provide design criteria for specialty fabricated products

- Oversee installation of customer-provided or shop-fabricated parts

- Prepare accurate quotes and manage budgets and project timelines

- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution

- Monitor progress and communicate regularly with clients and internal stakeholders

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification

- Manage all aspects of the project life cycle, including documentation and billing

Qualifications

- Degree or background in mechanical engineering, project management, or a related field

- Experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial installation preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

- Familiarity with reading technical drawings and design specs (CAD knowledge is a plus)

- Highly organized, self-motivated, and solution-oriented

Schedule

- Monday to Friday

- Full-time (40+ hours/week)

- On-site position

- Some Weekends and Holidays may be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
