We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and facilitate joint projects for our national and international Members within the Technical Program and Fuel Channels Program under Joint Projects & Services. These initiatives are critical to advancing clean energy solutions, extending the life of CANDU® nuclear reactors, and integrating automation and AI to drive innovation. In this role, you will engage key stakeholders, foster collaboration among CANDU® owners, and identify opportunities to propel global projects and strategic initiatives forward. Reporting to the Program Director, JP&S, with functional reporting to the Program Manager – Fuel Channels, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nuclear energy and sustainability.
1. Take ownership for facilitating assigned joint nuclear projects related to CANDU® technology. Responsible for the planning, execution, and closeout of assigned projects within established budget and schedule.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Members by facilitating and assisting project steering committee in strategic decisions and initiatives, mitigating risks, managing issues and identifying opportunities within assigned projects.
: Demonstrates expertise in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple joint projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
: Builds and maintains strong relationships with Members, suppliers, and steering committees, effectively facilitating collaboration and strategic decision-making.
: Possesses a solid understanding of CANDU nuclear technology, licensing requirements, and quality assurance standards, applying this knowledge to project execution and risk management.
: Proactively identifies risks, mitigates issues, and finds innovative solutions to ensure project success while continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement.
: Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication abilities, effectively facilitating discussions, delivering presentations, and building consensus among diverse stakeholders

: Joint projects are completed on time and within budget, ensuring alignment with project goals and governance.
: Project scope, terms, and conditions are well-defined and agreed upon by all members, ensuring smooth execution and compliance with governance standards.
: Members are actively engaged in project collaboration, with positive feedback on the effectiveness of SCOP project initiatives.
: Shared projects result in cost savings for members, maximizing the value derived from joint initiatives.
: New joint project opportunities are consistently identified and pursued, fostering collaboration and innovation among members.
This role is based at the Conexus office in Toronto with the opportunity to work remotely 1-3 days per week.
