The Project Engineer II performs engineering design evaluations and executes projects within budget and schedule constraints. This position provides technical support to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and successful project delivery. Works under direct supervision and established guidelines. May act as back-up for the Project Manager as needed.
- Participate in Invitation to Tender (ITT) development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
- Identify and source long-lead equipment; coordinate with FEED contractors until assignment.
- Coordinate development of EMCAPS Gate 3 deliverables.
- Support creation of the Functional Interaction Plan and project issue-resolution processes.
- Coordinate change requests and endorse change authorizations.
- Ensure completion of assigned work scopes aligned with project objectives.
- Verify design and construction activities meet project specifications and standards.
- Serve as primary interface between the Project Team and Contractor.
- Facilitate smooth transitions between project stages and support application of Project Management Systems (PMS).
- BS degree in Engineering.
- Projects and Facilities experience in Unconventional (onshore shale) operations preferred.
- Experience across engineering, construction, project management, and controls disciplines.
- Broad knowledge of design standards, specifications, and work processes.
- Multi-discipline skill set with demonstrated leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization, coordination, and planning ability.
- Adaptable to tight deadlines, high workloads, and shifting priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, and fit for duty/agility test.
