The Project Engineer will lead new programs, coordinate resources, manage timelines, and collaborate with customers, manufacturing, and internal teams to ensure all project goals are achieved.
· Serve as the primary interface with customers as the project manager for new programs.
· Maintain the highest quality standards to ensure continuous customer satisfaction.
· Perform product cost estimating and feasibility analysis for product design and tooling manufacturing.
· Track tool progress at tool shops to ensure timely completion.
· Report weekly to plant management on the status of all new programs.
· Lead the internal Product Development Team (PDT) for new programs and attend PDT customer meetings.
· Document all project activities and maintain comprehensive program files.
· Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams on repair and modification of existing tools and fixtures.
· Ensure all project aspects are addressed and completed on time.
· Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management.
· Minimum of four years of experience planning and executing projects in the manufacturing or engineering field.
· Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD.
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple disciplines and senior staff.
· Familiarity with industry rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
