About This Job

Project Engineer

We are looking for a bilingual (Mandarin/English) speaking Project Engineer.

Job Description:

•

Support Project Manager in defining provisional manpower histograms and qualification requirements for assigning engineering personnel

•

Ensure the technical part of the Contract review

•

Provide instructions to the engineering team through project engineering instructions and procedures

•

Ensures the issue, the validation and the maintenance of key engineering documents as applicable to assigned project

•

Coordinate and conduct design reviews with the discipline groups and the client to ensure all parties have made the required input to the design towards delivering construction work packages as per project schedule

•

Coordinates with vendor on all technical matters

•

Participate and work on all bid evaluations

•

Preparation of weekly and monthly reporting, design recommendations and other technical reports required by the client

Requirements:

•

Over 3 years of experience with an EPCM company in a Project Engineer role

•

P. Eng for APEGA (preferred)

•

Ability to work independently, as well as in team environments as required

•

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

•

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

•

Planning, prioritizing, and working under pressure to meet set deadlines

•

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•

To travel to client sites as needed

•

Bilingual (English/Mandarin)

•

PMP (preferred)

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $50.00-$85.00 per hour
