Be part of a team that is bringing revolutionary technology to the mining and remediation industries. We are looking for a Project Engineer who will play a pivotal role in advancing our patented High-Pressure Slurry Ablation (HPSA) technology.
Job Description:
•Project Planning and Design: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and incorporate project requirements into the design. Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
•Grant Management: Oversee and manage the administration of a state Grant, ensuring compliance with state regulations and reporting requirements. Coordinate with financial teams to manage budgets and funding allocations.
•Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure engineering designs and technical specifications meet project goals.
•Coordination and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and internal Disa employees. Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to ensure all parties are aligned.
•Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical reports, grant paperwork, and progress updates. Prepare and submit reports to funding agencies as required.
•Other: Occasionally assist with engineering efforts to scale units to commercial levels and implement them effectively
•Analyze flowsheets from prospective customers to identify areas where technology can be implemented and develop site implementation plans
Requirements:
•BS in Mining, Chemical, Metallurgical, Minerals Processing Engineering, Petroleum or related field
•Project management experience and the ability to take ownership of multiple projects, high attention to detail
•Be able to work in a start-up environment that demands “wearing multiple hats”
•Strong Math and Science background (especially Chemistry and Physics)
•Experience in mining, minerals processing, energy and/or remediation
•Experience with process flowsheet design and process control
•Ability to learn about new techniques and technologies and maintain awareness on industry advancements
