Project Controls Coordinator III

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Project Coordinator to join our construction management team. This pivotal role involves overseeing various phases of construction projects, ensuring seamless coordination among teams, and maintaining adherence to project timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in project management, construction software, and technical schematics, contributing to the successful delivery of complex projects across diverse construction sectors.

Duties

- Coordinate and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation.

- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and HeavyBid for project tracking and documentation.

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution.

- Assist in preparing detailed construction estimates and budgets using estimating tools.

- Monitor project progress against schedules, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including change orders, RFIs, and progress reports.

- Support project managers in contract administration and procurement processes.

Skills

- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.

- Experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid.

- Strong understanding of construction estimating and project budgeting processes.

- Excellent project management skills with proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction best practices.

- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.

- Ability to interpret technical schematics and drawings accurately.
