Reporting to the Capital Projects Manager you will be part of the Capital Projects Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Invoice Receiving – obtain signature approvals for invoices, service and receive
- Service and material requisitions
- Purchase requisition log – update and obtain PO’s for the department
- Contractor headcount – record all contractors on site for the department and submit reports
- Time entry for the department
- Order supplies
- Complete travel and accommodation reservations as directed while maintaining the department’s rotaions roster
- Complete actuals vs commitments report. Ability to create pivot tables
- Submit work orders
- Support the department supervisors, with regular administration functions as directed
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a project/ contract administration role
- Proven commitment to health, safety and the environment
- Excellent computer skills, in particular MS Excel
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional ability to work within a diverse team
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Schedule: 7 days of work followed by 7 days off at our Detour Lake Mine.
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
