The Project Controls Analyst is responsible for supporting the controls and reporting needs for multiple client project teams to ensure projects are progressing on time, on budget, and the team is meeting stated milestones. The Project Controls Analyst supports project teams by helping to coordinate the schedule, cost, monitoring of risk/issues, and developing status reports.
The responsibilities of the Project Controls Analyst role are as follows:
- Partners with Project Lead to update and maintain weekly project status report and distributes to project team leadership.
- Prepares monthly accruals report for client as appropriate based on client needs.
- Organize and maintain project sites and ensure all status reports, deliverables, and other required documents are posted and maintained on the site.
- Provide project controls support on small projects (one to five resources).
- Monitor project timeline and milestones and maintain project performance metric dashboard.
- Partner with Project Lead to maintain risk and issues log.
- Approve timesheets and expense reports on small projects as needed.
- Attain annual billable hours requirement.
To respond to client and project needs effectively, roles and responsibilities will vary and may include additional responsibilities not listed.
- Experience in project controls or management (member of a PMO team, business analyst, or related function).
- Experience working on several small projects in a deadline-driven, collaborative project environment with changing priorities and client needs.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, SharePoint).
- Experience working with scheduling tools (Microsoft Project or similar).
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel functions.
- Familiarity with Power BI a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
- Desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail.

Mosaic strives to set salaries at, or near the 50th percentile (midpoint) of the range and it is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range for the position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $75,000.00 to $95,000.00. This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program of up to 5% of annual compensation. The bonus program is dependent on a variety of factors including organizational and individual performance.
