LCRA has an exciting opportunity and is looking for a Project Analyst II to join our team. As a part of LCRA’s Telecom Project Management Office (PMO), you will contribute to project initiatives in an organization that strives to enhance the quality of life of the Texans we serve. You will provide support to Project Managers for the overall project services function. Our selected candidate will play a key role in day to day project support activities, assisting with project schedule maintenance and financial forecasting for the life of the projects. This role works a hybrid schedule, with a minimum of two days in the office with the option to work three days remotely within Texas. This is based on business needs and can change.

You will be trusted to:

•

Have a basic understanding of project management principles and practices

•

Utilize your experience in financial analysis, assisting with project financials

•

Work daily in PeopleSoft and Primavera P6, experience in these two applications is highly preferred

•

Collaborate and work with other teams within LCRA and externally.

•

Provide project reporting pertaining to the Telecom PMO portfolio.

•

Assist Project Managers with daily project management activities.

•

Use office applications such as e-mail, spreadsheets, and word documents at an intermediate skill level.

•

Manage multiple activities within your work day.

You qualify with:

•

Six or more years of experience in project controls, project management, accounting, business analytics, data analysis, budget analysis or administrative support or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in project management, business, accounting, finance, economics, engineering, construction management, math, science, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

Project scheduling and financial forecasting experience in P6

Project financial forecasting experience in PeopleSoft

Basic experience with JIRA

Skills in project financial analysis

•

Basic understanding of Telecom Networks and Infrastructure
