Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative PE Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering and will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills to contribute to various projects within our organization. Our core focus is critical power infrastructures so you will be working with systems that fall under that umbrella, such as : Generators, Switchgear, Transfer Switches, Protective Relays, Transformers, UPS, Battery Systems, PDU's, Utility Service, and Distribution.
Responsibilities
•Design and develop electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
•Partner with customer to assist them with load calculations, load studies, designs, and product selection.
•Work with end users on proper maintenance specifications.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs with mechanical systems.
•Utilize AutoCAD for drafting and designing schematics and layouts.
•Conduct debugging and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
•Manage project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of engineering solutions.
•Implement firmware solutions for embedded systems as required.
•Stay updated on advancements in quantum engineering and incorporate relevant technologies into projects.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
•Have or are obtaining your Professional Engineer license.
•Strong skills with experience in troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
•Familiarity with mechanical engineering principles is a plus.
•Experience with firmware development for embedded systems is advantageous.
•Proficient in using AutoCAD for design purposes.
•Knowledge of critical power products and systems is desired.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating attention to detail.
