As a Production Tech I you will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and maintaining oil and gas production and injection wells on a rotational schedule.
- Monitor, operate, and maintain production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on well-site facilities.
- Collect and analyze production data to optimize performance.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental policies.
- Work collaboratively with field personnel to maintain production targets.
- Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected.
- Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection and water disposal.
- Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection and metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others).
- Job is to be performed employing safe work practices while utilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties.
- Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.
- Previous experience in oil and gas production operations preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a field environment, including exposure to various weather conditions.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a strong commitment to safety.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
- Understanding of environmental and safe work practices.
