The Role:
The Production Supervisor assists with leading the production team to achieve company safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives of the organization on a daily/weekly basis. Production Supervisor assists and supports the achieving the production build plan, development of the production team, coaching the team to solve problems, and driving continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence. Further, Production Supervisor provides hands-on support, leadership, and guidance to the production teams to support the Production Management team.
Your contribution to our vision (responsibilities):
•Drive shift production priorities and factory KPI's to maintain safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
•Supervise production staff during shift.
•Assists Production Manager with delivering appropriate training, mentoring, coaching, and performance management of Production Operations in a manner that drives continuous improvement and an inclusive work environment.
•Effectively document and communicate production limiters while supporting root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
•Partner with managers, or other resources across departments to address and solve critical operational and employee performance issues in a timely manner.
•Fully understand and properly execute emergency procedures.
•Demonstrate the required behaviors to motivate and engage employees (servant leadership); build trust and confidence among the management team and peers.
•Supports preventative maintenance policies and ensure cleaning procedures are followed.
•Supports action plans to meet department goals in the areas of quality, labor efficiency, labor utilization, housekeeping, and productivity improvements.
•Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; escalates issues in a timely manner and supports all functions of the business.
•Follows and executes safety protocols/standards.
•Performs other related duties as assigned by direct manager.
You bring:
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
•1-3 years related manufacturing experience, 1-3 years management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (solar module or EV automotive experience a plus).
•Experience with process improvement, driving efficiency, and meeting aggressive deadlines.
•Ability to work well under pressure; manage competing demands.
•Understanding of mechanical and standardized processes.
•Hands-on experience with multiple manufacturing lines.
•Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
•Strong sense of urgency and commitment to team culture.
Language skills: English, basic Spanish.

•Experience ramping a greenfield manufacturing site.
•Bilingual / Spanish or other foreign language skills.
